About HUNGRY-COW K BBQ

Korean BBQ & Shabu Shabu

HUNGRY-COW K BBQ is a korean bbq in Fremont, California. It is listed at 40470 Albrae St, Fremont, CA 94538, which places it among the local businesses of Fremont that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Fremont, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across California run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 11:30 am–11 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (510) 573-8200. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, myhungrycow.com.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.4 out of 5 from 406 reviews, which is a strong result for a korean bbq in Fremont and suggests consistent service.

One of the Best Korean BBQ Experiences Around If you’re looking for the best Korean BBQ restaurant, Hungry Cow is a must-visit. From the moment we arrived, the experience stood out thanks to the high-quality meats, excellent service, and fun interactive dining experience. One of the highlights was the incredible selection of premium marbled beef. Every cut was fresh, tender, and packed with flavor. The beautiful marbling created a rich, buttery texture that melted in your mouth once grilled. Whether you’re a Korean BBQ enthusiast or trying it for the first time, the quality of the meat here is truly impressive. The meal also came with a variety of traditional Korean side dishes (banchan), including kimchi, pickled vegetables, broccoli, and other flavorful accompaniments that complemented the meats perfectly. We loved grilling everything tableside and creating different combinations with lettuce wraps, garlic, peppers, and sauces. Another standout was the atmosphere. The restaurant is modern, clean, and inviting, making it a great place for date nights, family dinners, birthdays, or a night out with friends. The tabletop grills make the dining experience interactive and memorabl

Pretty good foods, atmosphere & services. I had better experiences elsewhere before, so I might be bias. The Bone broth soup, bone marrow, steam eggs, filet mignon, etc are good. Overall, worth coming back.

Had an excellent experience at Hungry Cow! From the moment we walked in, everything was top-notch. The food was fresh, flavorful, and served quickly. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome throughout our visit. The restaurant was clean, comfortable, and had a great atmosphere. Every dish we tried was delicious, and the portions were generous. It's hard to find anything to complain about because everything was done so well. Overall, an outstanding dining experience. No complaints at allβ€”just great food, great service, and great value. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend Hungry Cow to anyone looking for a fantastic meal!

We came for the sizzle πŸ”₯ but left smelling like we marinated in it 😩 Still giving it 3 stars because the vibe and service were solid! Pros πŸ‘ β€’ πŸ”₯ Super cool mist + fire atmosphere that feels fun and modern β€’ πŸ€– Robot food delivery = automatic entertainment β€’ πŸ“± Super easy iPad ordering β€’ πŸ‘ Sweet & attentive customer service (big reason for the 3 stars!) β€’ πŸ…ΏοΈ Easy parking β€’ πŸ’° Decent prices + dessert included Cons πŸ‘Ž β€’ πŸ₯© Meat was noticeably chewy β€’ 😢 Everything tasted pretty bland β€” even the banchan! β€’ πŸ₯« Sauces were nothing special β€’ πŸ’¨ Very smoky with poor ventilation we smelled like BBQ for hours afterward πŸ‘ƒ (not a fan) β€’ πŸ₯€ Drinks are extra (bummer) Cute concept and nice staff, but the food needs more flavor/tenderness and the smoke situation needs fixing. Good for a casual try if you’re in Fremont!

I always tell my kids "if it works, don't fix it" at the same time "be adventurous to try new things". It may not work with eating out, find new restaurants to try, but sometimes it's good to stick with some restaurants we're already happy with, especially locally. My daughter came back to visit from NY, she's craving for Korean BBQ, we normally go to Real Korean restaurants to have Korean food, sometimes we want to try many dishes with one price AYCE. GEN in Fremont was our favorite, we went there many times. Since we experienced hot pot like Shabuya, we don't go to BBQ any more. Since my daughter like to try new things, we found this one on Yelp with 4.5 stars, so we thought it's better than GEN because the price is higher $44 compares to $31. We're totally disappointed, not sure how all these high scores are on here. One thing I don't like to go where there are 2 prices $44 and $55, if we chose $44, we're second rate customers LOL and it shows with the quality of the meats. 1. 4 of us can only order 5 plates of little meats each. 2. We have to wait until the plates get to us before we can use the digital touch screen at our table. 3. Each time it took a long time for the orders
